[sllug-members]: OT Anyone know the proprietary language SSML?

I've worked _very_ briefly with SSML, as long as you mean speech synthesis
markup language.

The language itself is pretty intuitive, simple, and straightforward. My
impression, however, has been that pretty much anything that implements it
doesn't follow the W3C standard, and introduces its own odd quirks.

I guess a good question to ask would be: What is your question? Why are you
asking? What do you need help with?
