Folks,
I am very confused about how to diagnose an issue.
Perhaps someone can give me advise on how to proceed to diagnose this issue.
I am using SUSE 10.3.
About a week ago google searches and accessing google email became
intermittent and very slow. Sometimes it would be reasonably fast but
more often
than not it was obviously struggling.
As of today I have lost all connectivity to google from my primary system.
I can't reach google email nor do any searches with Firefox. I also tried
Konquoror and it behaves the same. I tried changing MTU values from
the default to 1492 and that was no help either. I have tried reboots.
I can ping google ok.
Other machines in the house work fine to google so I am assuming
I don't have a DSL or router problem since the other machines use the same
network. I have not rebooted either the DSL Modem or Router as yet.
I can use other search engines to reach most anything and very fast.
Those search engines don't like google at all.
Any substantive help would be most appreciated.
Cheers,
Bob
