So adobe just announced today its going to join the open screen project.

Looks pretty cool basically a large number of companies are getting together
to create a consistent open standard for cross device media. My
understanding is to get it to a point where smartphones, normal phones,
computers and tv's can all process a standard form. Also the big thing for
me is the opening of flash, maybe I can get a good flash player for my
slackware box now.
