[sllug-members]: need debian help

I saw some other recent discussion about that kernel.  Aaron from the
ubuntu group here couldn't use his wired nic after updating to that
kernel.  Without being able to offer you a solution, it is nice to know
that it seems a bit more widespread than just one machine.
