The point that I was making with the magic-Jack is that any POTS telephone can 
be connected to it with an RJ-4 jack.  Even cordless phones have to hook into 
the POTS, usual through a charging base.  I do not know if that is what Marc 
is looking for, but it does open up many possibilities.  I must have missed 
something that Marc was saying.
