Actually I have a hard time believing a less crazy person wouldn't have 
a better chance of winning the republican nomination(speaking from my 
experience as a delegate).  However $random_slug person would probably 
get slaughtered in the general election(but of course so will 
Schanzie).  Speaking as a supporter of Peter Corroon(Did you see me 
walking in the parade with him?) and other local democrats.  I hope no 
one else does file for the republican nomination.  Having Schanzie head 
up the republican county ticket is much better for the local democrats 
than a no name.
