Actually I have a hard time believing a less crazy person wouldn't have
a better chance of winning the republican nomination(speaking from my
experience as a delegate). However $random_slug person would probably
get slaughtered in the general election(but of course so will
Schanzie). Speaking as a supporter of Peter Corroon(Did you see me
walking in the parade with him?) and other local democrats. I hope no
one else does file for the republican nomination. Having Schanzie head
up the republican county ticket is much better for the local democrats
than a no name.
