Our current basic residential service is 50 Mbps bidirectional and
includes 500 GB of data for $50/mo.

MStar is offering 50 Mbps with 100 GB for $40/mo. I don't believe
Nuvont has adopted the 50 Mbps service yet, and are still selling 15
Mbps exclusively (also $40/mo).

ATT pulled out a couple weeks ago. Veracity is business service only.

I think all residential VoIP service is floating around the Vonage
price range, without the additional "taxes and fees" (which are
neither taxes nor fees, for the most part). I know our target price
is $30 before promotions and bundling (which should be in public beta
later this month).

A number of the questions raised in this discussion are covered in the
op-ed we have submitted to the Tribune in response to this week's
publications. If they are not accepted, I'd be happy to send it out
here.
