Something to consider. I'm encouraging people to write to Sen. Frank
Lautenberg and let him know they support the Community Broadband act of 2007
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s110-1853
If I'm reading this right, it tells states to keep their paws off
municipal fiber projects such as Utopia.
It doesn't seem to be getting a lot traction so I'm hoping if enough
people write letters to Congress we can get it moving again. If we can
get the state to stop screwing with Utopia, I'm hoping it will speed up
the deployment as it's less crap they have to deal with.
