I think all of these ideas are good, and I think that inviting Qwest
and Comcast seems like "The Right Thing" to do. But I think there
would be a few problems:

1. At our city council meeting (Shout out to Woods Cross!!! :D ) we
invited Comcast and Qwest, and besides the blatant outright lies they
were also spewing bogus conjecture about themselves that would be
difficult to prove (one way or the other).

2. Comcast and Qwest have a commercial interest. This might mean
they talk about future "plans" and potential changes they are making
as if it is actually going to happen/happening.

3. They were more than worthless due to their desire to remain as
secretive as possible to "the competition" about the interesting
things that separate them from Utopia or even Qwest from Comcast.
They are competitors almost conspiring together against a third party
just to make sure they don't lose their 'edge'.

And beyond that I suppose my comments just trail off into my personal
opinions on why Comcast should be ejected from existence and Qwest
should go back to providing telephone service.
