It's difficult to get things going out there in West Jordan. I've
presented to the City Council and had many conversations with Mayor
Newton since February 07.

Since then I've been posting on my blog what's going on with my
situation with Concast and bringing fiber to our awesome city. I've
also been working with several other's here in the city plus harassing
our Politicians in the State Capital. Senator Stephenson and Rep.
Craig Frank aren't very easy to get along with to say the least though I
truely appreciated Rep. Frank in taking an hour of his valuable time in
speaking with me one on one about Utopia. After only a few minutes
Senator Stephenson had enough of me and got outta there :-)

We could use more people calling the West Jordan City Council about
this. Hell, at least do a
damn feasibility study rather than ignoring it.

I've already written a quick response to the article and sent it along
to the trib. Very disappointing to see them stoop to this new level of
reporting. I wonder who they had to grease to get that trash in print.

Goes to show you, when you are a monopoly (or even a duopoly), you can
provide products and services which benefit the company and NOT the
consumer.

Yes, you can be terminated for using your 'unlimited use for a flat
monthly fee" Internet account.
