What do you mean "current yum repositories"? 

You're not hoping to use YUM to upgrade your system to something more
recent are you? That might be a good approach on a Debian based system,
but it isn't for Fedora. (For another couple weeks anyway. F9 will be
the first release with proper support for live upgrades.)

Quit using FC-1. If you're going to avoid upgrading systems for years,
you should be using a distro with long term support like RHEL of SLES.
If you don't have the budget for a maintenance contract, you should be
using CentOS not Fedora.
