[sllug-members]: PAM - Authconfig

The -tui option worked perfectly thanks, I have however run across
another problem. I setup everything up but there seems to be some sort
of authentication issue as when I try to SSH or reboot and login I
cannot get in. I believe it has to do with ldap not authenticating
correctly. I did use the newer version of the NSS_LDAP which I don't
think is the problem but I could be wrong, however I was wondering if
anyone knew of anything I could do to check and see why it's not
authenticating correctly. I discussed samba and windbind with my Sr.
but for some reason of which he won't discuss with me he doesn't seem to
like samba to much so it's not an option. Thanks in advance for the
help!

/usr/bin/authconfig is part of the 'authconfig' package, which should be
installed. In RHEL5/CentOS5, the package is authconfig-5.3.12-2.el5. If
you want to continue using that HOWTO, make sure that package is
installed.

As for what you do, try running authconfig-tui which is a text-mode UI
for authconfig. Looks like using the TUI interface will be easier to
follow in their HOWTO than doing it all on the command line.
