[sllug-members]: Apache - hosting multiple sites

How simple is it to host multiple complete web sites based on sub-domain in
Apache, and how do I accomplish this? For example, if I have two
sub-domains, nathan.nathandelane.com and amber.nathandelane.com, could I
have two separate virtual directories on Apache, and tell Apache to host a
different site based on the sub-domain (or is this a fully automatable task
via my hardware router)?
