The installation isn't so bad ... unless you're trying to install it on 
say 64 Bit RedHat AS 4.x.  Then it's a pain in the (BLEEP!)

Yeah I got it working.  Would have been nice if Oracle told me in the 
fine manual about the compatibility rpm they wanted me to install before 
linking, link then remove after installation.

Yeah that got me too ...  And I'm ranting so I'll stop now ;-)
