I can comment on the Kerberos bit. Do you need an explanation of the
fundamentals and concept, or an in depth look at how they work technically?
If you're just looking for an introduction, the dialogue at
http://web.mit.edu/Kerberos/dialogue.html can't be beat.

Other than that....Reilly is all I can suggest. :P
