[sllug-members]: Proxy server

Hi all,

I'm looking to setup a small proxy server at my home so I can restrict
what my kids are accessing on the web.

what I want to do is explicitly define which websites they CAN
access.. not an exclusion list.

Maybe there is a better way than a proxy, but I wanted to put this on
a machine in a locked room in the basement. it is amazing what my 8
year old is able to figure out on his PC..

I know there are many options and I'm sure I could find one that will work..
Just curious if others have setup something similar, and what you all
might have used.
