Yeah, that's fine. That just means that xinetd is listening to the port
and starting up the pserver rather than the pserver having the socket
itself. I've never run cvs myself (except locally), so I can't give you
any specific advise. You might check the xinetd configuration and logs
to make sure that xinetd isn't broken.
