[sllug-members]: CVS Issue

I ran netstat -n -l and I find
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:2401            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN

Unless I am reading that wrong I am listening to all IPs with port 2401, right?

So I should be able to do
cvs -d :pserver:me at serverIP:2401/var/lib/cvsroot rls

But I still get
cvs [rls aborted]: unrecognized auth response from serverIP: cvs
[pserver aborted]: /var/lib/cvsroot: no such repository

BTW - for the client SVN is not an option :(
