Marc,
I have Skype working on SUSE 10.3.
I had a 64-bit SUSE system and just switched over to
IA32 on it but I think it worked.
A new one is coming soon, I think.
Meanwhile, I would recommend you email this to one of
the technical Skype Forums and see what you get back
as their engineers scan it and respond quite often.
If you continue to not get help then contact me again as I
have a direct channel to them.
