[sllug-members]: Used laptop recommendations

It's finally time to replace my aged Dell CPx laptop. 550 MHz/128MB RAM/6GB
HDD is just not enough any more. Sure it runs XP and Ubuntu, but not very
well.

Any suggestions for a source of used laptops? I would like to see the units
in person. Local to Layton would be ideal, but online sources would be
welcome.

I am looking for a ~1.0 GHz/512MB/40GB HDD with DVD/CD-RW drive. Something
along the lines of a Dell Latitude C640. Linux compatibility is a must.

Alternatively, if someone has one for sale privately, I'd be up to taking a
look.
