I am having issues with my D-Link DI-624S router. It will not access the
internet, only LAN. When I go to the router home page, it states upload
firmware. I am working with D-Link, not the greatest tech support or
customer support. I am wondering if anyone on the list knows were the
firmware would be, other then the dlink sites, because I have looked at all
of the on my own and with dlink support multilpe times and it is not there.
I have googled it and can't seem to find it anywere. Another option I am
tring to explore is the OpenWrt firmware. I can't seem to find an image for
it, espically for a DI-624S. Long run I would like this option because I
would like to put squid on the router, because I am on utopia thru xmission,
and xmission gives a proxy server for filtering.
Another option is I can't get the DI-624S router working, I would like to
get opinions on a good linux capible router so I can have some good linux
servers like squid and ip-filtering etc.
