[sllug-members]: Cingular now blocking tethered devices?

I'm curious to know what you mean by "blocking".  Are you seeing failures
in the PPP script negotation?  Is PPP not assigning an IP address?  Or
are packets just disappearing into a blackhole?  You should be able to 
get some stats to see where the process is failing.

In a previous life I suffered through writing a PPP stack for routing IP 
over cell modules.
