Recent events aside, SLLUG has always been a very friendly list. You're
more than welcome to ask technical questions in the hope others will be
able to help. But don't be surprised if Linux questions are answered
more frequently than Windows questions.
That said, when you do so, don't hijack threads. Don't pick an existing
SLLUG message, don't click "reply to" and don't change the topic.
Instead, start a fresh thread by clicking on "new message". Do read
about and observe proper netiquette. (If you're not already familiar,
looks for ESR's guide to asking smart questions.) Do resist the urge to
join in pointless flamewars. Do take time to help others occasionally.
