This is good news, thanks for sending it along.
Now maybe one of you smart people can explain the following to me.
ALSA and OSS are competing audio sub-systems as I understand it.
Is there any dependency between the two?
The reason I ask is that Skype gives me the choice to select OSS or ALSA.
In both cases the microphone doesn't work so I am confused how ALSA
is going to fix the problem. Hopefully, that was clear.
I real happy about the volume being the same as XP now on the laptop
since RC1 so I can high hopes that final will fix the Microphone as well.
