Yes.

Historically, SUSE's FTP "version" of their releases was *almost* identical to
the disc sets. There were a few packages (including the "non-free", which is
covered now by the "non-oss" repo) that were not placed in the FTP image.

Use the DVD image. There are several packages that are on the DVD and not in

No point. If you have the image local, there's nothing in those repositories
that will be of any help.
Of course, this doesn't cover the updates they release. The easiest way to
pull that in is to use the YaST Online Update setup (not configuration, IIRC)
tool. It will add the updates repo to the list of install sources.
BTW, you can just "rug" on the command line.
