[sllug-members]: Network Monitoring

I've been looking at various products which tie into RRDTool and I was
wondering what other's are using to monitor their network traffic.  I'm
looking at either re-writing my perl scripts to read it's database (I've
been using MRTG forever) or using something that's already popular and in
use.

monitorix looks good.  I haven't seen anything in it that presents
daily/weekly/monthly totals of network traffic (in and out).

So, what are you using to prevent getting "The Call" :-)

I'm even considering going with something like smoothwall as I understand
they have some great logging/reporting tools. Just a thought as I don't have
ton's of time these days to building from source :-)
