[sllug-members]: Utopianet and City of West Jordan

I hope it's ok to post this here.

Tomorrow the City Council of West Jordan will be meeting and I'm passing the
word to everyone I can to attend.  While Utopianet isn't on the agenda, I've
spoken with several City Councilmen these last few days about bringing it to
West Jordan and kicking the Comcast monopoly out.  It sounds like there is
an interest however I can't do it alone.

It's at 6pm at 8000 South Redwood Road on the third floor City Hall
building.  I'll be there to present my thoughts during the citizen comment
period.  I've learned you don't have to be a resident to speak.  You can
fill out a form found at the door before the meeting begins.  I'm trying to
get a rep from Utopia there and have been sending letters and email's to
various news and TV journalists.  Hopefully there will be interest to
further build Utopianet.


If interested please attend.  If you live in West Jordan it would be great
to see you there and speak your mind.

I'll eventually put all this on my blog.  I'm hoping to use it to keep
people informed about Comcast's antics and get the word out about services
such as Utopianet.
