I know that those who disagree with what you propose are discounted as 
an unimportant/uneducated/stupid minority, but please don't use the LUGs 
as a political platform to "represent" us.

Organize as you want, but don't lie and say that you "represent" us. You 
don't.

Keep the two separate, on your own time, on your own dime.

Move it to another list. Send a general invite if you want.

At least have the intellectual honesty to say that you represent your 
own selfish interests... justification by saying that "everybody 
benefits" is the same old line that tyrants have used since the dawn of 
history. Not that anybody cares as long as they get the goodies they 
want at the moment.
