[sllug-members]: Using WPA supplicant on the U of U network

I know the university of Utah doesn't support linux as far as helping
students connect to the secure campus network. I was wondering if anyone
here would be able to help me. I use ubuntu and have installed
wpasupplicant and am trying to use that, but when I enter in the information
(unid, pass, WPA2, AES, etc) my computer still won't connect. I can connect
to the insecure network on campus. But this is going to be gone soon, so I
was hoping to get wpasupplicant up and going before then. I also tried
following the directions on the uconnect website about using xsupplicant,
but couldn't get that to work either.
Any help would be much appreciated.
