I have to agree.  I've used several free video editing products for 
Linux however none of them are close to what we need.  My wife has a 
company which manufacturer's DVD videos using our customers slides, 
negatives or videos.  Add's music (usually royalty free) and so on.

We're currently using Vegas Video / DVD Architect.  Hopefully someday 
Linux will have such a product which can come close.  We're currently 
looking at switching to Avid Xpress however Vegas keeps upgrading and 
providing us with less incentive :-)
