That is a myth.  Comcast cable is *not* faster than Qwest DSL.

First fault.  For the word faster to be used, it must be faster on both
upload and download rates.
  FACT: Qwest DSL has faster upload rates than Comcast Cable

Second fault.  This is a generalization, and does not take into account
of customer location.
  FACT: In many areas Qwest offers faster download rates than Comcast.

Third fault.  Comcast Cable's advertised speeds are estimates, or maximums.
  FACT: You rarely get rates Comcast advertises.  Qwest gives you the
rate you pay for dedicated all the way to the ISP's location.
