My oldest daughter has a miniature arcade box (14 inch screen, stands ~3ft
tall - she is 2 years old), it ran WIN 98, but I am in the process of making
it a Puppy Linux box for her, then installing simple games.
If you haven't used Puppy, it is a PITA (for extreme novices, such as
myself) to install, but it is wicked fast* booting from CD & can run
entirely in RAM even with only 128MB RAM.
*on her Celeron 333MHZ w/ 128MB RAM & cheap-o 8MB video card w/ generic
sound card (that XP can't identify without the driver CD, but Puppy Linux
can.
If anyone has any suggestions, wants to help, wants pics when it is done,
let me know. I only have daughters (2, at least so far) so instead of
painting it black as I intended (I built the case over 2 years ago) I
painted it Krylon's "Pigtail Pink".
