[sllug-members]: Fedora Core install problems

I just installed FC6 on a Dell Inspiron 9300. I went very smooth. I
initially did a number of install on it just to test things out. So,
right before FC6, I had a FreeBDS partition and I had to use the
FreeBSD intall disc to delete because FC6 install DVD won't do that.
Other than that, the rest was "as usual", if not better.

Also, I wanted to upgrade another Dell laptop (that already has FC3) but
it freezes just like in your case. It's kind of dissapointing because I
am not up to removing all partitions on it and doing a fresh install.
If you have everything backed up and can afford to loose everything on
you drive, you may use another tool to delete all partitions. I am not
sure, but that worked in my case.

Thanks,

Poly
