I am having a hard time figuring this out, I am trying to install fedora
core 6 on my computer and it keeps freezing when it begins searching for
existing installations, right after choosing my keyboard layout, and it is a
total system freeze so I can't hop to another terminal and get output, I
have tried the DVD and a CD, I have searched the net fo solutions and tried
to boot with noprobe and nobmraid, but to no avail. I have 2 80 gig sata
hard drives, my motherboard is an Asus A7V600 with the via VT 600 chipset
and a via-sata controller for the drives, I have previously installed just
about every distro on this box, and I know it to be in good working order.
I have also been posting on fedora forums without any luck.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
