I had numerous problems with my Actiontec when I first got it.  Upgrading 
it to the latest firmware solved a number of problems.  Not all of them,
but it worked a lot better.

I currently use a Cisco 678 though -- when things aren't working it is 
easier to talk to them via a serial cable and get useful information (IMHO).
(and I found one cheap on ebay).
