If you want to future-proof your purchase, get something that supports
1920x1200 resolution. This way, you'll be able to watch high definition
content at full resolution. I recommend you consider these:

Personally, I recently bought an Apple Cinema HD 23" monitor and I
couldn't be happier: http://www.apple.com/displays/specs.html

Although, I had to get a "new" graphics card to support it -- $70 ATI
Radeon 9600XT from newegg. The old GeForce 256 card sort of worked with
this monitor -- in the graphics mode, at full resoltion, but it didn't
display any text when booting or when switching to the Linux text
console. I guess it treated the DVI connected monitor as a second head
in the dual head setup, so it sent all the text to the "first" head even
though there was nothing connected to the DSUB port.
