I don't think I am conveying my concern here correctly, sorry for the third
attempt.

I am wondering where/how to find my DVD-RW that I have connected to my PC
via USB.

It should be mounting to /media/device_name_here correct? If it doesn't
automount how can I find it in my tree to mount it to
/media/device_name_here

Would it appear in the tree before it is mounted?
