I know this is off topic, please forgive me, but I think you are the right
audience for this:

I am looking to start a small hosting project, I am really unsure as to what
is the best machine to run the duties.

Here is a link to what I have a spec on.

Feel free to give input as you see fit :D

Also for data center hosting, I am looking to stay local, I have contacted
Xmission and Consonus, anyone else worth talking to?
