[sllug-members]: Mediawiki and MySQL

I am running multiple Mediawiki installations and about two weeks ago I
could no longer create new users in any of them.  When I go to the log
in page it just sits there trying to create a new user.  They are all in
MySQL with their own databases.  I don't get any error messages and I
can log in as the admin user that is created during installation but
that is it.  The size of all the databases combined is only about 2 gb. 


I am running FreeBSD 6 and mysql 5.0 and php5.
