Really?  Hmmm, I do see them there- or at least, what we have on 
gentoo.cs.utah.edu matches what exists on ftp.ussg.iu.edu:
:gentoo-distfiles (which is where gentoo says to mirror from).  Were you 
looking at the mirror way early this afternoon? According to the logs 
they came down with one of the last sync's I did before sending out that 
email message.
