Web Developer with QA/testing background

Backcountry.com is growing rapidly and is looking for an experienced Perl
web developer with QA and testing experience. We have a strong
Engineering department that is growing and we are looking to increase our
code level testing and QA staff. We are a fast paced company that has
seen 70+% growth year over year since we've been in business and we are
passionate about what we do.
The candidate hired for this position will be joining our skilled team of
developers and will be doing web development, bug fixes,
designing/creating/testing new web based applications, helping maintain
existing web applications, and assist in developing QA and code level
tests for other developers.
Required Skills:
* Solid web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
* Good perl skills
* Experience with perl testing tools (Test::More, Test::WWW::Mechanize, etc.)
* Good Linux experience
* Database experience, comfortable with SQL
* Comfortable with learning and working with custom software
* Excellent communication skills
* Works well in team environment
* Shows demonstrated ability to take on challenges
Additional Preferred Skills:
* Experience with general web application testing (Selenium, AB, Siege, etc.)
* Experience with Interchange (www.icdevgroup.org)
* Server and network administration skills a plus
Considerations:
* This full-time position is benefits eligible and is located in Park
City, Utah, with occasional travel to Salt Lake City.

1. Describe your favorite set of perl modules you use on a regular basis.
Why do you like them?
2. How would you prevent a user from submitting a form more than once when

5. How would you test AJAX calls on a page with an automated testing system?
6. Please write up a code sample to do the following:

Given the above,
A.Remove all garbage characters only letters, numbers and spaces
should be there.
B.Create a hash of words from the first string to map to
corresponding words in the second string. For example, red maps
to apple, blue maps to sky.
C.Print out the key/value pairs of the hash in alphabetical order of
the keys- capitalize the first character of each word as you print
it.
