Web Development Manager    Location:  Cache Valley, Utah

5-7 years experience preferred, 3-4 minimum experience with PHP & Perl, 4-5
years management experience

Programming experience in PHP and Perl preferred

Linux experience

Reports to IT Director

 

Web Development Manager must have the ability to envision product
development and manage projects efficiently through to completion.  Must be
able to analyze and design applications that will benefit company clients.
Able too manage development projects from initial design through testing
phases.  Should have a working knowledge of good user interface design as it
applies to web and native applications.  Responsibility for the quality and
integrity of all company developed applications.  Must have experience
engineering, developing and maintaining web platforms.  Good understanding
of relational database design, XML, SQL, and complex queries.  Should have a
good understanding of the UNIX shell, system administration procedures,
networking fundamentals, and standard data security procedures and
practices.

 

Manage the development team, including 2 web developers and 1 QA Engineer

Conduct training and skill building with team

Work with QA Engineers to create testing plans and methodology

Track and report project progress

 

Good communication skills

Strong organization skills

Linux Software Engineer   Location:  Roy,  Utah

This is a great opportunity for an energetic and detail-oriented individual
to join a successful and growing business.  Reporting to the Senior Software
Engineering Manager.

 Essential Functions: 

*	Specify, create, and test Linux kernel components from scratch, as
well as from Linux open-source community.  
*	Create low-level firmware to monitor environmental and operational
conditions of various components in the NAS appliance. 
*	Create and maintain utilities to allow users to find and configure
their NAS appliances over the network. 
*	Create and maintain utilities to support manufacturing test,
including; imaging the unit, RAID builds, burn-in, and functional tests. 

Minimum Requirements:

*	Bachelor's degree with three to five years experience. 
*	Must be familiar with DHCP, networking terminology, hubs, switches,
routers, and cabling. 
*	Must be PC tech savvy (assemble PCs from component level and know
all parts) 
*	Must be proficient in Linux configuration, cross-compliers for
various non-Intel processors, and kernel debug tools. 
*	Good problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and ability to work
within a team environment that is constantly changing are essential
components for a successful candidate. 

Preferred Skills:

*	Working knowledge of C, C++, C#, and HTML experience a plus.
